Only a spelling whiz knows our Maine Mousse doesn't have any resemblance to a real moose from Maine! Our Maine Mousse is a luscious whipped honey that will melt in your mouth and melt your heart. Our creamed Maine Mousse is made by slowly mixing pure honey with a very small amount of crystallized honey over a period of 2 days. After 2 days of stirring in a special mixer, the honey has become creamy and thick so we call it Maine Mousse. It is so creamy that you think that there is cream or butter in it, but it is 100% pure honey, plus the fruits and spices we add to make our flavors.
The Gentle Ginger Maine Mousse infused with organic ginger and is a beautiful gingery addition to your tea, your scone or even in a salad dressing. Maine Mousse is made in small batches right here at our apiary. Ginger lovers absolutely love this Maine Mousse.

A Note about Shipping Honey Products
Raw honey is sensitive to temperatures. Maine Mousse may melt if it is stored above 70 degrees. If it arrives and is a bit runny, stir it and place it in the refrigerator for a day and it will firm back up to it's delicious moussey-ness! Likewise, our 'runny' or traditional honey may be stiff if it is too cold on its way to you. Set it in a pan of warm, not hot, water to let it come back to room temperature.
