The golden all-natural honey from our eco-friendly honey bee farm in Boothbay, Maine Is raw honey at its best. It retains all the nutrients and health benefits that honey can provide. It comes to you with all the nutrients that it had when it was taken from the hive. We harvest our honey in small batches so that we maintain the highest quality control. All raw honey crystallizes eventually, but can be gently reheated to about 100 degrees without any damage to the health benefits of raw honey. We warm our honey by placing it in a pan of warm water with the lid on, changing the water as needed until it is clear again. Pure raw honey does not go bad!

A Note about Shipping Honey Products
Raw honey is sensitive to temperatures. Maine Mousse (our creamed honey) may melt if it is stored above 70 degrees. If it arrives and is a bit runny, stir it and place it in the refrigerator for a day and it will firm back up to it's delicious moussey-ness! Likewise, our 'runny' or traditional honey may be stiff if it is too cold on its way to you. Alternatively, all raw honey will crystallize. For both issues, set it in a pan of very warm water and cover with a lid to let it come back to room temperature and its natural 'runny' consistency. You can repeat this process as often as needed with no loss of quality.
