Wrapping up the Fall Season

Wrapping up the Fall Season

Yesterday, we wrapped up the summer and early fall season with the Fall Foliage Festival at the Boothbay Railway Village.  On Saturday, we endured the last gasps of Hurricane Philippe as it moved up into Maine bringing with it lots of rain Saturday.  In spite of the rain, the market was busy on Saturday...no surprise to Mainers who say there is no bad weather, only bad clothing! We met a lot of new honey-lovers and had lots of Boothbay Farmers Market summer residents coming to stock up before they leave for the winter.  We're trying to do a better job of letting them know that the honey is available year round on our website.

This winter, when life in Maine slows down (it's dark by 4pm!) and we are sitting in front of the fire, we are going to concentrate on getting Barters Island Bees out into the world of social media marketing.  If you like our honey, please give us a 'like' and follow us on all those platforms... Facebook, You Tube, Instagram, WhatsApp, Pinterest...

We're building our business one jar of honey at a time at markets and stores around our area.  But we'd also like to build our website business, and that's built with one  'like' or 'follow' at a time.  We appreciate those reviews many of you have posted on Google. Thanks for all that support.
