100% Natural Honeybee Products for Your Health & a Healthy Environment

Natural honeybee products have a long medicinal history. Honey, bee pollen, propolis, royal jelly, beeswax and bee venom have all been found to contain anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral and antioxidant properties. Honeybee products have also been shown to inhibit tumor cell growth and metastasis, and to induce apoptosis of cancer cells.

Honey

Honey contains a mix of amino acids, vitamins, minerals, iron, zinc and antioxidants, and in addition to its use as a natural sweetener, honey is used as an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antibacterial agent.

Cough. Studies suggest that eucalyptus honey, citrus honey and labiatae honey can act as a reliable cough suppressant for people with upper respiratory infections and acute nighttime cough.
Cardiovascular disease. Antioxidants in honey might be associated with reduced risk of heart disease.
Gastrointestinal disease. Evidence suggests honey might help relieve gastrointestinal tract conditions such as diarrhea associated with gastroenteritis.
Neurological disease. Studies suggest that honey might offer antidepressant, anticonvulsant and anti-anxiety benefits. In some studies, honey has been shown to help prevent memory disorders.
Wound care. Topical use of medical-grade honey has been shown to promote wound healing, particularly in burns.

Propolis

Chemically complex propolis is one of the most popular bee products, exhibiting anti-diabetic properties and reducing oxidative stress caused by diabetes. Propolis also plays a very important role in lipid metabolism due to its positive effect on oxidative status and improvement of HDL-c, which reduces risk of cardiovascular disease. Antioxidant properties and cardioprotective mechanisms of propolis have also been confirmed in studies. Propolis may also improve poor oral health in patients with cleft lip and palate who’ve been treated with orthodontic appliances.

Royal Jelly

Royal jelly is a substance secreted by the nurse bees in a colony to feed larvae and the queen. An antibacterial and antiviral, it’s an effective treatment for diabetes mellitus, it’s used in skin cream to enhance collagen production, and it can also be used to ease pre and postmenopausal symptoms.

Bee Pollen

Bee pollen ointment may be effectively used in burn wound treatment, preventing infection of newly-formed tissue during the healing process.

Manuka

Manuka honey tests have demonstrated anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, and manuka seems to be effective in the treatment of chronic ulcers and prevention of mucosal glycoproteins. Another study suggests honey may reduce excessive weight gain and improve obesity-related parameters.

Bee Venom

Bee venom is a honeybee product used in traditional folk medicine in Korea and China, finding application in the treatment of arthritis, cancer and inflammation. Bee venom exerts its anti-inflammatory activity through the IRAK1/TAK1/NF-κB signaling pathway.
